Little added details...

Hi Guys!

Having now prepared our script it was time to discuss Costume, Make up, Weather and Transport...

We decided that Emma should wear smart casual clothing as our news channel package was aimed for the younger generation and not the older generation. When selecting things through her wardrobe we decided jeans were a NONO and therefore looked for trousers of which made her look elegant, we also decided 'HOODIES' and 'TRAINERS' weren't going to be on the list too and therefore looked for a smart top with an cardigan, alongside this we also decided to make her were 'flats' or 'smart casual shoes' this not being your ordinary vans or high top converses!

Alongside picking the costume for our News Channel Package we also had to discuss make up, we wanted a smooth and natural effect rather than a face bombarded in orange makeup making her look smart, elegant and sophisticated. We put natural skin colour blusher and foundation on alongside a touch of mascara and a little lip gloss and that was it. She is your typical and ordinary news reporter in a child's programme!

One more thing which we discussed and believed was important is WEATHER, we have decided to film on a nice bright clear day where the sky is bright and blue. We thought if there are heavy winds, rain, thunder/lighting or snow this could effect our news channel packaging greatly and therefore do not want to take the risk it may cause and due to this we are awaiting a nice day (although through the help of the internet we can tell in advance what the weather will be like!)

Last but not least, TRANSPORT was one of our main priorities. Unfortunately wanting to film during the week we would struggle to get lifts off of our parents due to there work commitments and due to this we are relying on public transport. Having looked on the internet for directions, routes and so on we have decided to get the 292 from school (Mill Hill County High School) to Borhemwood Broadwalk and from there we can get an UNO bus of which will take us to where the RSCPA Animal Shelter is. We decided to go to Southridge RSPCA Shelter as it is the nearest and easiest to be accessed, although we have come prepared! We emailed and phoned the shelter and spoke to one of the managers who has kindly given us permission to film there! :D

We now have everything planned and all we have to do is film! Hip hip horrayyyy from TEAM RAFA :)

Thanks!
Team; Kenneth - Emma - Natalie.
